I can always tell when SC goes down as the traffic in the Dubs board drops significantly

Seriously though, has anyone who pays for this unreliable ass service stepped back and though about what they are doing?
1> I pay for my hosting and pop3 service for the label. The company I use for this (1and1) has had over 4 years running now without a downtime. They charge less per month for real hosting then soundcloud does for app access.
2> I was just on soundclouds facebook and am quite annoyed looking at pics of their office. I feel like the mony Ive spent through them has gone not to make the service more reliable, but rather to furnish the office in nifty art-deco style, buy loads of modern art for the walls, flat panels w/ xbox's in each room, a set of technic 1210's, ect. If you look at the office pics, it seems like someone is spending our money on a bunch of stuff they wish their mommy would have bought them for christmas but never did, and writing it up as business expenses.
Now, ive seen pics of google's office and it is quite styled out, however, ask yourself when the last time was that you had problems this major with google or youtube, and youll see where soundcloud needs to deliver a quality product before competing in the 'coolest office ever' competition.

Down still.
Tbh it never had problems until they let people join who just uploaded music they didn't make. People use soundcloud to upload music they like so they can stream it on their page. Not to mention huge stars like gaga having insane amounts of traffic and plays/downloads/streams. I thought it was for independent artists... perhaps they've expanded since. Still, people uploading music they didn't actually make should probably be stopped.

Its for everyone, and they can afford it.

ye man its sucks, like the first time one of my tunes really got promoted by big artist, (mainly just posting the link up on there facebook pages) soundcloud crashed the exact same time for like 7 hours which was pretty shit because it all became pointless, and it does just make you wonder. hopfuly there sort it out aye.
