The below have either been criminally played out or were never cool in the first place - humanity, it is incumbent upon you to stop embarrassing yourself with their use:
"MIND.... BLOWN"
"Get involved"
"Epic"
"It is what it is"
Pretty much all words for cocaine that aren't coke or cocaine.
Add on....
get involved.

This one. This fucking one. I even find it accidentally coming out of my own mouth occasionally because my ex used to say it far too much. Horrible.

should we basically list every colloquialism, idiom and slang word that isn't entirely local to each of our specific friend groups??

No, just the horribly overused ones. Slang's brilliant... linguistic repetition is fucking BORING.
Using a phrase like "Epic Fail" or "Get Involved!" essentially conveys "I want to be down, but have a tiny vocabularly... pity me."

Well as long as you don't take the latest hipster phrase and then use it in every sentence for the next 10 years whilst anyone with half a brain stops finding them amusing after 6 months, you're probably alright.
I don't think anyone's as flowery in real life as they are in text... if only speech had an edit feature.
