Bell Ringing

across the road from my flat. at the church. on monday nights. manchester bell-ringing society convenes.
they ring bells. for two hours.

how can police shut down free parties and not this.

also i apologise that this thread is not about... whatever the fuck you thought "bell ringing" was going to mean.

one time me and my mate broke into a church when we were baked and rang the bells. was very very fun.

maybe there's a way to finesse this inconsistency: start a church, establish that you're allowed to ring the bells FUCKING LOUD, then switch to putting on free parties, which are quieter than the bells, so they can't complain about noise pollution ...?

is that what mass did?

one time a friend of mine climbed over the fence on a policeboat on the river rhein an rang the bell. baked fun times.

It'll be within a set-time that no-one can complain about, classed as 'normal hours' or something (generally 9am-7pm)... You could also complain though don't be surprised if the church decides that heaven isn't good enough for them and they want to make lots of noise in purgatory as well
