Post by twothirdsmajority » Sun Oct 16, 2011 6:13 am

So yeah, i made a huge 3 hour Dubstep mix of 73 artists Alphabetically, ranging from various Dubstep producers from various styles of Dubstep.

This is meant to educate the masses about what Dubstep truly is other than the usual filthy bollocks.

You have Skrillex, Nero and Doctor P in this mix. Why?

Because it's a great way to attract the brostep crowd and the newbie crowd. So while i'm playing the filthy shit to suit them, i'm also adding in the good stuff to give them a sense of variety in Dubstep.

Some of the tunes are one of the lesser known tunes, and you want to educate them about Dubstep producers?

Because i feel that some of these tunes deserve to be more famous than their already well-known stuff. Caspa's Velvet Room is pretty good, and it's proof of what a Dubstep producer can do. Such tune should be more well-known to the public. And it also proves that some producers like Caspa CAN do good tunes, and Velvet Rooms is proof of that.

I never thought the day would come that I would hear South London Boroughs and Skrillex in the same mix.

I'm listening to this mix solely for hearing this particular transition.

sssoooo.......

what your saying is....

you made a 3HR dubstep mix to show that your a roots dubstep dj...and that bollocks wobble is not all what it is cracked up to be,

then contradict yourself in your own mix.....with skrillex, doctor P, etc.....

....then do a Q&A about the mix for your POV.... of yourself.....being the interviewer, and the interviewed.

your class A Crazy!

this whole mix is littered with heavy wub wub...you should rethink the name of your mix. just a 3hr A-Z mix. because the context you put the mix in as of now, does not make sense at all.

but the mix is good :)

Well this mix is for teh n00b Brostep fan who thinks that Skrillex is the king of Dubstep, and so the only way i could get such Dubstep listener to listen to a mix filled with music by Burial, Peverelist, Shackleton and DMZ is to add in Doctor P, Skrillex and Nero. And it works.
but the mix is good :)
Thanks :)
