So I finished up my track thinking that I had mixed/mastered it to my full potential, but when I uploaded it to Soundcloud there was terrible compression on my sub-bass. This made me rethink if I had actually gotten my track mixed and mastered proper. I know Soundcloud's compression algorithm is not very forgiving in cases of lots of soloed bass or highs, but it still didn't seem like it should be this bad. I tested my song in my friends car, who just got new subs (but lacked good mids or tweeters), and the sub was so powerful that everything else in the song was fading in between when the sub-bass played. Basically I'm wondering if anyone would be able to just take a listen to my song (on soundcloud or if you could download it so you actually hear it how I produced it that would be awesome) and let me know if I fucked up on the production of it, or if I've just been running into a bunch of variables that don't relate to the production of it causing it to sound bad.
tl;dr I lack monitors for production so I'm not sure if I got the bass right with my headphones..

I also just tried tweaking it some so this is the newer version: http://soundcloud.com/joeyverbeke/joey- ... av/s-YV9dU
