who is behind this show? i was crusing around listening to 91.1 the other night and all of a sudden i hear Monsoon loefah remix ??? NY needs more good radio

dj rupture? isn't some kind of mashup/ electronic guys from the tigerbeat
label
but i'm actually not sure about that ...
every song played is archived and can be found by using the search bar/application on their homepage

Aye, it's DJ Rupture's new radio show, only the second week I believe. He ha Drop the lime on last week so I'd expect big things out of WFMU in the coming months...

that track is a work of art. countless times i've played it and people who don't even have a clue what dubstep is tell me what an excellent piece of music it is!
a radio which plays that track is definitely a 'good radio' in my book

I've been dismissing Rupture's ethnic music posts on
his blog, but loved the Qawwali performance. That very site, which is always an inspiring read, also first introduced me to grime and dubstep. About time he got his own show.
