Help me with my ableton issue
Im having a problem with a midi clip in ableton live....Im sure this is an easy fix and that this is just my inexperience getting the best of me here so i was hoping maybe someone could help me. Okay ive got a bassline i have made and when i play the clip back it sounds fine but the more i play the clip the more the sound changes it gets lower and lower and lower and then returns to the way it first sounded and so on and so forth. Is there some setting i have turned on that is making this happen?
Re: Help me with my ableton issue
Hmm, sounds like you may have a slow LFO setting on your synth that may be causing that.
Re: Help me with my ableton issue
Assuming u have lfo assigned to filter cut off make sure "restart" is checked. You will find it bellow where you set the rate for your lfo. Checking this box means that the lfo curve will re-trigger for each middi note. Atm I am guessing as you loop the sound the lfo never re-triggers so it sweeps down to a point that sounds too low to you. If the lfo re-triggers every new midi note it should sound the way it sounded the first time, every time.
