Jakers - Dubstep Practice2

Post by Jakers » Wed Nov 02, 2011 7:40 pm

Please give me advice on my dubstep production, I know it's repetitive and short but I just run out of ideas :(

Thankyou so much.

Sounds like some latin track at the beginning and then it sounds like electro... kind of confusing. Sounds more like an electro/breaks track and then it suddenly ends. You should probably work more on it, it you have run out of ideas then you should just leave it there for some time as an unfinished project and try it again in a couple of weeks. That has worked for me. Hope this helps

i agree with bassdubba, the intro is very different it works but i feel you could make it sit with the song better by adding elements of the drop in it, obviously no sub etc. but maybe a bass fade in or something. and i feel your bassline could use more low end.
