best producers doing minimal sound's?......

Post by farmaz » Sat Nov 05, 2011 11:09 am

Im not too hot on releases & producers, so let me say that 1st

but when i say to people i like dubstep they allways mention Skrillex & all i seem to hear is this midrange "noise" thats classed as dubstep.

Anyone suggest people to check for the kind of sounds like Loefah - Horror Show type dubstep. Low end proper bass with that kind of sound that something evil & bad is waiting round the corner.

how can people relate dungeon to be minimal ?? .. alot of it has more content than most mid range brostep material.... anyway .. master of the minimal ... VERSA. .. and if you aint heard it, you probably aint cos its only just been finished.. his remix of Biome's track Swan. now thats minimal at its finest.

Going to do a school work about modernism and I'm waiting to see the reactions when I'm gonna play this :)

On topic, Burial.

The reactions are what makes the music!

I you like that sound, Blipswitch Digital is heavily reccommended: http://www.beatport.com/label/blipswitch-digital/11088

The label releases either deep/minimal-type dubstep, or deep minimal techno/house, and oftentimes both on the same release.

Most recent release from Daega Sound System, in fact!

enjoy

after distinguishing minimal from dungeon sound, i'd say james blake and mount kimbie are both good minimal producers
