WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE NARCO/CRIME DRAMA SHOW?

Post by sizzla » Sat Jun 16, 2007 8:58 am

if you've seen HBO's the The Wire then you'd agree that although it's a cool show, their stories move mad slow.

I rather watch Miami Vice the 80's series for tv narcotics/crime drama as it had alotta grimey memorable characters, hot babes, phat cribs, and the nicest carz....not to mention big time drug deals gone bad.

The Wire spends too much time on the bureaucratic side of things where it becomes a show of talking heads and hardly any action....

My question to all the heads in the UK or the rest of Europe is...
Do you have a favorite narco/crime show with good writing that i can possibly pick up somewhere on dvd or download?

I know the UK must of picked up on this theme some time if not now.

peace

Sorry...but, it's gotta be The Wire for me (and I realize that I might be a little biased).

Yea, it's alot of talking, and sometimes moves slow, but in the end, the payoff eclipses any other 1 hour cop show. Going through it is like watching a 12-13 hour novel.
