Does M-Audio Xponent/Xsession Pro need Torq?
just as the topic says, I am trying to decide on a controller to get, and I was thinking of the Xponent or Xsession Pro, but I've been reading terrible reviews of the Torq 2.0 software, does anyone know anything about any of these topics/ know if those specific controllers need Torq? or would I be just fine with Ableton Live?

Re: Does M-Audio Xponent/Xsession Pro need Torq?
I have the torq xponent and torq 2.0, I like um but i wouldnt use the xponent as a midi controller in ableton live. What i do is use torq and the xponent rewired into ableton with my launch pad and trigger finger so i can mix on the fly with the xponent and at any time come in with ableton, really fun stuff. Things I dont really like about torq is with the exponent you can only control 2 fx at a time on each deck (but lets you use 4 if you have an external midi controller) Other thing is it feels kinda cheap cause its plastic but you get what you pay for. But torq has never crashed for me while playing it so i cant complain hope this helps you
