hey, im wondering if its possible to control FL studios live mode jump markers with an rm1x, and STILL be able to see the measure numbers etc on the rm1x's screen. because i know you can obviously use the rm1x with Fl im just wondering if it will still display pattern information like measure numebr etc.
thanks =]

Re: FL studio 10 and an rm1x?
I have a couple of those, but I don't think so. It will act as a MIDI controller fine though. If you slave the RM1 to FL it might, but I'm not sure if it will work in reverse. Try it though, only way to find out. Let me know if it works. I don't have mine hooked up, lost the power adapters somewhere. I do remember it worked fine controlling Cubase and FL but I've never used the live mode.
The RM1 MIDI menu and options is quite extensive, so play around with the settings.
Make sure you have the latest firmware from Yamaha too, it fixed some MIDI issues involving forcing CC messages, it was a pain when using it with other gear.
Oh also, check the FL forums. They make "Dashboards" for outboard gear, so hardware can better interact with FL. I'm sure they have one for the RM1x by now.
