Yeah Yeah - Dubstep/Drumstep/Whatever

Post by Nealge » Wed Nov 16, 2011 7:40 am

Soundcloud

Here's one for ya. This is definitely a work in progress. The piece is essentially there, there just some mixing issues and drop issues that need to be attended to. This is pretty heavy on the melodic side of things. Maybe too much so. Voice your opinion bluntly please, but at least back it up. Thanks guys.
Soundcloud Sequencer drenched, hefty 80's synth leads, and two drops in the same tune! What a bargain!
Soundcloud Proggy melody, up-tempo Drumstepish style, over the top drums, and some unintentional bars of 2/4 thrown in for good measure.

Hahahaha I busted out laughing at that sample!! Such a great sample!! Also the track is good, I mainly enjoyed the fact that you had Toms all up in your song. You don't hear that to often in Dubstep, so it's nice to hear them and hear them being used well!!

Thanks dude. Glad you liked the sample! Also, thanks for the compliment on the toms. I was somewhat afraid I may have gone overboard with the drum arrangement. Glad it's not too crazy!

just checked out Yeah Yeah... it was awesome! reminds me of a cross between video game music and a touch of 80s synth pop intertwined with gnarly basslines. very unique...haven't heard anything like this. cheers!
