Tone Smiff - Matrix Fight[dubstep]

Post by ToneSmiff » Wed Nov 30, 2011 3:01 pm

This is my second attempt at making a dubstep track. The title came from during the production of it, I kept picturing Neo fighting the 1000 Mr Andersons scene from the movie The Matrix 2 lol. As someone who's new to the board, I definitly plan on checking out others and leaving feedback and thoughts on tracks. Hope you enjoy!

To me the only thing i would say is that there's a little too much treble and the drop needs a smoother build up.
What you did right:The wobbles, synths, everything went together (at least enough).
I'd say really an equalizer on the master would fix most;y everything.

Other than that It was nice

thank you truly for the kind words and appreciate the feedback bro. When it comes to the EQ, do you think it's the overall track that needs a treble drop or just a certain part of it? that seems to be the general consensus on a few other boards I posted this on as well.

I like it but I only had a problem with the drop. Going off of what Thalass said, it seems like the drop just sorta happens. A bit of a smooth out going into would help a lot! Keep it up man, doing great for a second tune!!

thanks reachzenith, i'm definitly going to work on that and maybe re-up it soon. But i'm glad it's that good for a second track. i'm going to have to listen to some more songs and get a feel for the progressive build up of drops. i'm definitly going to check some of your music out as well!
