This reminds me of some of the earlier dubstep tunes in that it has quite a simple underlying pulse to it which is mennacing and works really well. I think that it is quite repetitive and would benefit from progression in the sense that the second half is does not seem to change much from the first half. That said, it depends on the context because I could seem this fitting well into a mix of similar songs and working in a club or on a radio show etc, the repetitiveness wouldn't matter so much then because the atmosphere is really good.

I would suggest building on the second part and adding new elements. I think that dark and fairly low end (but not as low as the bass line) melodies would add some power. I would also go to town with the percussion, going for interesting and possibly random hat patterns etc (but I always say that, obsessed by hi hat patterns at the moment). I was also not too keen on the higher pitched stabs/melodies that you used, I didn't think the notes quite fitted the rest of the tune, I'd say that you probably need something in their place, but I would just experiment to find something that works better. Hope that helps a bit.

reeeaallly feeling this. this does remind me of the old school though, good job. wish there was more of this around. that synth melody is mean man! great tone as well. agree with more variation in the 2nd section
