Hey guys, with christmas around the corner I'm sure many of you are thinking about giving, and also receiving

haha. What production equipment are you guys asking for this christmas?
I myself am hoping for an akai mpk49, although I wouldn't mind a new computer monitor.

I'm to old to ask my parents to christmas presents; anyone over the age of 16 is too; just be happy for the spare socks - you can never have enough!
I am buying myself either an ipad2 or a new PC though, haven't decided yet! Got around 640-740 (depending how much I spend on junk leading up to post-christmas sales) to get me either/or at a nice price.
Ipads are mental for production; me and FSTZ was talking about all the stuff whats coming out for them/is around out - in terms of hardware and software (apps or whatever they're call it these days)

This xmas I'm giving away all my old shit to goodwill, including some decent music gear I'm too lazy to sell. There is nothing worse than having too much shit, most of which you never use. So merry xmas goodwill merry xmas me!

get the ipad, even if it was only a performance tool it'd be worth the $. The garageband app is like the single best song-starting situation ever.

I'm most likely going to buy myself an MPC 2kXL. Had one, loved it... Feeling uninspired by computers again and a bit of new kit always brightens that mood up.
I was planning on getting a new MIDI controller with better pads anyway, best of both worlds.

My mom bought mine last night

.
I don't have money to give anything, but once I make it in music I'm giving 51% of the money to my parents and 20% to my grandma so that's good enough.

Haha I could ask all I want, won't be getting shit
Gifts with christmas is such a weird idea to me. Is it a religious- or a tradition thing?
We usually do a family dinner on xmas eve and a third day of christmas with friends.
Also, is boxing day just a weird term for 2nd day of christmas?
