Oh god,....I can't handle all the releases in January......I'm so happy right now.

Although after listening to Moody, I feel like it may as well be titled "Swirls VIP."

As much as I love Biome, and I do love Biome a whole fucking lot.-- I will surely buy any release he ever puts out;-- I think a lot of his tunes are beginning to sound almost too alike. His resampling is reallyyy obvious and it almost sounds like takes whole chunks from one tunes and puts them in another. Still an amazing producer though.

agree with above poster, but biome's not the only one getting stale. problem is he never brings any new percussion, it's always the same step and programming. and imo the scene as a whole is gettin too fond of those growl fx

though to be fair Biome's "Propaganda" is one of the best halfsteppers this year. quite a memorable tune there

I think when you make so many tracks like paddy does you can get a lot of them sounding similar, but then I suppose that's what makes him biome, the re sampling of your own sounds is a key factor to building the sound that you get recognised for... If the sounds he was re sampling were common among other artists then I can see what your saying, but his sounds are unique.... You either like biome or you don't

Completely agree. I also feel that in particular, Killawatt and Commodo are the most diverse producers at the moment who can still keep that dungeon sound, but also add some very interesting aspects to it. I really feel that Commodo is one of the most underrated producers, everything he touches is absolute gold, I still get excited when I hear that Medi release, shit's unreal. For me, Commodo is definitely producer of the year. I really hope his tune 'Axis' get a release.

Back to the subject though, Biome will always be a favorite of mine, no matter what.
