I couldn't agree with you more. 8)

Particularly, Zimmer's work for Gladiator; the theme of Elysium still gives me chills.

And John William's piano work for Schindler's List is phenomenal.

Clint Mansell is great too! Requiem for a Dream and Black Swan both have amazing soundtracks.

Hans Zimmer is fantastic, I've watched this so many times and it always gives you a shiver.



Don't ignore Lisa Gerrard's contribution to the Gladiator soundtrack too.

Gustavo Santiolla (won't even attempt to spell that correctly) is great, did Babel, 21 Grams, Amos Perros.

I've never heard Spanish guitar sound so dark.



Mark Isham's Crash soundtrack is fantastic too.
