Sample CDs for drums
has anyone ever shelled out the $$$s for a sample CD and thought it was money well spent? I've never looked into them cos they are so expensive and have always spent time trawling the web or making my own samples. Quite often i find my songs are let down by the drums though. Does can anyone recommend some good sample CDs/companies that make them?
bob clearmountain drums is going for $19 here
http://www.soundsonline.com/Bob-Clearmo ... W-040.html
bargain as it used to cost loads more. nicely recorded single hits from lots of kits suitable for any genre
natural studio is good value, they've also got a free kit going
http://www.naturalstudio.co.uk/
for electronic sounds check modern beats ( vintage machines is good)
http://www.modernbeats.com/soundsets.php
Also blister pack is very good for layering and sculpting
