when it comes to creativity uni/college/school isnt always the best place to be. yeah you can learn some useful shit there maybe and maybe brush up on technical ability but at the end of the day, when your being asked to produce stuff you probably wouldn't do off your own back you know somethings wrong....but fuck it, don't listen to me, i dropped out of my college course a year into it like the dumb fuck i am:lol:Phuboy wrote:I went to my uni's final year exhibition last week, and some of the final year students work couldn't even hold a candle to that.
yeah man i know what you mean. its all good picking up new techniques n learning stuff, but from my experience, alot of art lecturers seem to want to live through their students and tell them what they should be doing, then marking them down if they dont take their advice.dTruk wrote:when it comes to creativity uni/college/school isnt always the best place to be. yeah you can learn some useful shit there maybe and maybe brush up on technical ability but at the end of the day, when your being asked to produce stuff you probably wouldn't do off your own back you know somethings wrong....but fuck it, don't listen to me, i dropped out of my college course a year into it like the dumb fuck i am:lol:Phuboy wrote:I went to my uni's final year exhibition last week, and some of the final year students work couldn't even hold a candle to that.
