Stutta - French Kicks [FREE DL] Chilled, Ambient, Sub heavy

Post by joejoe99 » Fri Dec 30, 2011 7:04 pm

Soundcloud
I geuss the sub heavy kicks are sort of influenced by Peverelist & Mala but aside from that i think its quite unique.
Vocal samples are from a dancehall track
I'd just like some feedback to see what i'm doing well/ need to improve on
Thanks for reading

Hmmm. Good ideas on this track. Sounds like it is clipping a bit tho. Are you rockin any compressors on the drums or vocals?

Clipping is just when the volume of your track gets to high within your workstation and exceeds 0 db. 0 db, or decibels, is the max amplitude allowed in a digital audio workstation. Clipping with cutout certain frequencies making the sound become muddy. Compressors can help hold sounds within there own frequency bands better along with equalization :)
