Not usually my type of dubstep, but beyond that personal bias, this is really good!

Thanks guys! I'm not a professional or anything I've been teaching myself how to use ableton and make this kind of music via youtube and this forum pretty much so im stoked you guys think its good. If you have any criticisms too though i'd really love to hear em I'm always combing thru my own tracks trying to identify any problem so i can fix em. If you wanna hear more of my jams they're all up for free on my soundcloud

It actually sounds a lot like Kill The Noise's Spitfire remix, look it up, crazy sounds in it.
I liked it though, I'm jelly.

Nice, very nice.

It does seem like everyone is going for Skrillex's bass though nowadays. Try something unique, my latest track has a blend of Skrillex and my own unique mid and other stuff.

But keep going at this rate, I say in about 6 months to 1 and a 1/2 years time, you'll be at Skrillex's level.

To be honest, I don't understand why you titled this what you titled it. It doesn't not really seem like anything Skrillex would make. I think it sounds like a nice blend of house(intro), Dubstep and pure madness. Very nice style you have going!

Jack- it's a pretty cool tune! I'd like to give you honest feedback... since you titled this thread as such, I would say no, you wouldn't give Skrillex a run for his money. I agree with the previous poster- it's very much NOT similar to Skrillex, apart from the slight similarity in the noise. I think it's much more in the same vein as something like Noisia, which is certainly not a bad thing! I think what really sets Skrillex apart from the bunch is the fact that he not only utilizes absurd, gritty sounds, but he also crafts a very musical progression with said sounds... he writes a well-structured song instead of wobble variations over a beat. Like I said, don't get me wrong- I definitely love listening to monster-sounds in the dark over a fat beat a la Koan Sound, Noisia, or Culprate. Just very different styles of dubstep, in my opinion.

in response to the last 2 posts, i did that a) to get attention and b) because that seems to be the standard everyone's holding themselves to now. i agree im not trying to do what he does haha im a fan of his engineering skills but no so much the music.
