how do i get a bigger listening crowd?

im sorta new at making dubstep (been makin it for 5 months) i have like 12 songs out but the only publicity i have is my 40 subs on youtube, which is terrible:/
My problem is, being 14 i dont know if i can just go out and perform somewhere, and even if i did. i live in a humble suburban area that clubs arent on every corner.
I see people on youtube that are just as good as skrillex, flux etc. but they have only 200 views
the only promotion i know is going to any dubstep video with 1,000,000+ views and puting one of those comments that are a paragraph stating that your only dream is to become famous and blah blah. that actually got me 40 subs in a week but yea.
if you listen to the track in my sig, you can tell that im pretty good.

any suggestions on what i should do in starting off to get more people witnessing my music?

Get some gigs at house parties, rent a hall and a sound/light system (do a show). Be creative, DJ at a skatepark comp, at the swimming pool, grandmas birthday, whatever.

Well for one, your focus is all wrong. 5 months in and you want a huge listening base? I could tell you to grow up but I think that's already pretty evident based on your age

You'll get listeners when you start writing good stuff - word of mouth is the best form. Also, if you get too many people onboard and you're literally writing shit, you're gonna end up a dead dj/producer before you even started. Like comedy, the longer you stay in the shadows developing your craft, the better it is in the longrun.

And +1 to virks' comment. Ego will destroy you, pure and simple.

send tunes to local DJ's and send demos to labels. I haven't done enough of either of these things, though. If people hear your tunes in a set and like them, they'll look you up and tell their friends. If a decent label is interested enough to sign you, you'll get some decent promotion, sales, etc.

Generally when I hear a good tune I post it on my FB wall or tweet a link to it, thus my friends tend to have a listen then if they like it they share/retweet it and more people will hear it and I'm sure loads of other people do the same thing. So basically if you want to get a bigger listening audience you need to keep working on your tracks till people like them enough that they want to share them with their friends.

You should probably post your tracks on your own Facebook (being 14 I assume you have one) and get all your friends to listen to your stuff for starters.

5 months and 40 subs is not bad at all. the best way i know of to get urself out there is doing like everyone else. create a wave and ride on it. a remix of a known song/ do toturials /advice vids . anything that ppl really know how to search for/want. btw dont overkill ur limiter that much:P ur tracks need room to breathe. and the most important thing. never do music for money. thats a dream and if you live for that dream you will be destroyed by your ego which will at some point grow and adapt to the rest of your restless soul.

Yeah a bunch of really good (and successful) producers have told me that they key is NEVER GET COMFORTABLE. Not to say that you shouldn't be happy with your tunes, you should, but never be like "yeah my production skills are great, I don't need to improve."
That's when you become formulaic. Always push yourself technically
And I'm not the one giving that advice, I'm just recycling it from many producers much wiser than I

You honestly aren't good enough to be big like flux or skrillex. You have a really cool bass though, the one in your sig. It isn't just a fucking Massive preset and it has attitude. Keep it up and I for sure will listen to you.
