It could have went either way from this, but i went the bropath. Now things have changed obviously. Could have went the bro way because it has has a dirty bassline, could have wen the deep way cus it has a strong sub and reggae chirps in the offbeat(if you know what i mean... the bit you skank at when dancing lol).

What is the one song that you would say weened you into the dubstep?

If that was the first dubstep track I heard I would have never got into it most likely.

haha yeah i got into dubstep in 2007 when i met these dudes at a festival listening to the new fabriclive album. after that it was history, non stop dubstep. i think i may have heard dubstep before then but never got into it. but after hearing fabriclive i got into some of the older dubstep too.

but i first got into electronic music from listening to benny benassi in 03. and of coarse i think my first ever electronic song was sandstorm haha.

I'd heard a lot of dark garage and the grime LPs and thought it was alright but didn't really "get" it (being a white nerdy kid from the south wales valleys). My old man bought me some b&w bookshelf speakers and give me his tag mclaren amps one day though and then I got hold of this album on release due to being a massive planet mu fan. I was hooked after the first song

Just like whoever said up there ^ for EDM it was like Sandstorm and other shit that was on DDR way back when. And a bunch of Happy Dream Trance.

But for dubstep was this...First video ever of dubstep/heard of dubstep. Thank you Skream & DJVibeTv & Youtube for being awesome when I randomly watched this video when it came out! Summa 09' Opened my eyes into something great & is a huge part of my life now.

The one of beg to differ is Shallow Grave 2008 or something like that - I am guessing the original isn't on there because it had been released before hand even if it was on the same label.
