Re: how do u get this sound
yo kstan man. read the rules and listen to what we have been saying in every one of your threads. there is a "how to make this sound" thread right on the first page -> http://www.dubstepforum.com/viewtopic.p ... this+sound
... you must post your inquiry in that thread if you want to make a certain sound, otherwise there would be a million threads saying "how do i make this sound". the point of this forum is to help everyone learn and share knowledge. stop selfishly making a thread for every one of your questions when all of them have already been answered or are in the bible.
read the production bible at the top of the forum. use the search function. use google. use youtube. stop posting a million useless threads.
also on a side note your focus is all wrong. you didnt even know what an envelope was and your asking questions like this. familiarize yourself with the basics on production by reading tons, watching tutorials, and practicing more. then once you get that down you can start worrying about the details like this.
some discussion on tape crackle emulation here. much more can be found on google and even on this site if you search harder.
