Too far out the way to get to places without big missions involved? Or doable.

Just, anyone live there/lived there? Looking at a place, but I just dunno if hampsteads going to be far out enough that I still cant make it to nights on a regular basis. Big point of living in London for me would be being able to just see something on that night for example and just pop down to check it out. Obviously going to be fine to make big nights, but am I just going to give up on popping places for a quick check out of a night?

Bit of a pain in the tits for travel, but a nice place. I used to need to get there for work at 8am from Sydenham, that took over an hour....but that is from Sydenham rather than anywhere with decent clubs! Now its got the overground its a lot better for going East, and isnt too far from places like Camden.

Yup, not too close to central london, but not far out and inaccessible either. Good location I'd say.
