can anyone reccomend some decent speakers between £80-200

Post by Bass Music » Tue Jan 17, 2012 8:00 pm

Looking for some speakers with a sub to use for a second reference when doing mixdowns and to plug into my TV for films and stuff.

Preferably they'd have inputs to be able to do both these things but if not I'll work something out...

cheers

<£200 isn't going to get you anything amazing man. If I were you I'd save up a bit and get yourself a pair of KRK RP5's for around £250. But if you really don't wanna save up I'd say your best bet would be a pair of these. You can get them as a pair for about £170 if you shop around a bit.

As said, these are for a 2nd reference when mixing down. I already have Adam A7x's so don't need monitors...just a loud, decent 2.1 thing :W:

Can anyone recommend anything?

The Wharfedale diamond pro 8.2's are good for a budget monitor/second reference pair. You can get them for around £200. They're better than the 8.1's too IMO.
