Meh, thought i could figure it out, and Im struggling to. Real quick, basically I have a vocoder set up in FL studio. Followed this tut: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=91igHV0CwJk
Mine is set up precisely like his, only my input is obviously different. I can easily play with the vocoder, but once I hit record, it adds edison. No big deal, normally. I have tried to record what Im doing in edison, but nothing comes up. I feel like edison isn't picking up my input...? I don't know. I also tried just recording a vocal file and uploading it in edison on my "Carrier" channel (if you took a quick look at that video), but what it loads either sounds like nothing, or in my case gave me some error message. If you guys have had experience recording via vocoder, sweet. Any help would be appreciated. I may just end up trying it again, making a new project for JUST the vocal part. Export that as a wav or whatever and just pop the newly recorded vocoder part into my current piece. Though I'd much rather get that shit done now in one take. Thanks guys. *facepalm* I feel like an idiot.
Quick Q about my vocoder...
