Born in London, moving to MANCHESTER, Alcatriz was massively influenced by the ACID HOUSE and TECHNO of BUGGED OUT! and HTP plus the ECLECTISM and BASSLINE sounds of EARDRUM and the ELECTRIC CHAIR, which led to organising legendary BASEMENT after-parties. DJ residencies at 'DA FUNKY CARNIVAL', and 'ROCKET' at the OLD FIRE STATION in Bournemouth then followed, plus a prime-time slot on multi award winning radio station NERVE FM.. Resident and curator of the infamously debauched 'DANGER STREET' parties playing alongside foundations of the BARNA BASS scene introducing SUBSOUND, STORMY, CARDOPUSHER, PACHEKO, VOLATIL, SATTA B, NEHUEN, NICENOISE, MR GASPAROV, REDRUM, TUFFIST, SAMRAI y mucho mas.. Alcatriz is also the founder of underground music internet broadcaster – REBELRADIO.FM, also doing his own show which receives thousands of listeners from all over the world, and has given the likes of BLAMMA! BLAMMA!, FAKE BLOOD, CROOKERS and JACK BEATS air play long before other djs and radio stations took notice... His shows have also featured special guests including CHK, CHK, CHK !!! (WARP RECORDS), SINDEN (GRIZZLY), PAVAN (FLOGSTA DANSHALL), THE WHIP (SOUTHERN FRIED), EGYPTRIXX (NIGHT SLUGS), and more... FENGER SWAY + DJ MEAT
Since their show in the bunker last year, the guys have joined the TERRA family, bringing not just a whole load of enthusiasm, but a diverse range of current styles, with a particular passion for footwork. Although FENGER SWAY has long been established as a DJ in the Copenhagen dubstep scene, his recent productions have gained traction in the scene and been featured on RINSE FM's GRIMEY BREAKFAST SHOW.
DJ MEAT is a newcomer, butchering tracks and genres, always with love, but without respect for boundaries. This is their first teamup as DYNAMIC DUDES, going straight for the jugular with deep dub step and jerkin' juke.
