LDN DC returns to The Nest on Friday March 2nd to celebrate our first birthday, bringing with us our biggest line up to date. Top of the bill is Untold, a man who has had a massive impact on the post-dubstep clubbing landscape. From the Eski experiments of his classic Gonna Work Out Fine EP, to the throbbing techno of last year’s Little Things Like That, Untold’s productions are taut, razor sharp affairs that refuse to sit comfortably in any pigeonhole. http://on.fb.me/UntoldHemlock
As the head of Hemlock Recordings he’s also developed a reputation as a first class curator, overseeing releases from the likes of Ramadanman and James Blake, and we’re extremely happy to have one of his most recent signings, Guy Andrews, on the bill as well. http://bit.ly/GuyAndrews
Scratcha DVA has spent the best part of the last decade immersed in the UK’s underground rave culture. As a producer he is perhaps best known for his mutant take on the UK funky sound (check Natty and Ganja) but he originally came up through the Grime scene, working with legends such as Wiley and Durrty Goodz. As anyone who has seen him live will testify, his DJ sets are as large and colourful as his Rinse FM radio shows, and we are particularly excited to be hosting him on the eve of the release of his debut album, Pretty Ugly, on Hyperdub. http://mysp.ac/ScratchaDVA
