Lexicon ionix is pretty solid, have a look, do you care about your pre amps?

M-Audio Mobilepre is definitely an amazing deal (it's like $50), and it gets the job done.

Don't think it's quite as high quality as the Saffire ones though

"They are also capable of having mic/line/inst channels, where you can use it to plug in a microphone or a synthesizer, or maybe a CD player. For example to be able to use a condenser microphone ( you have dynamic and condenser microphone’s, condenser being the popular one for studio’s, and dynamic being able to withstand great resistance, being great for on stage ) you will need a mic/line channel with a pre-amp, a pre-amp is basically the connection of the channel which amplifies it to line level, so it adds volume to these channels where needed, but for a condenser microphone you will also need phantom power, or maybe described as +48v, which the microphone requires for power."

You see those two connections on the left of the focusrite saffire? These are pre-amps, so if you don't need these at all and are just purely buying a little interface so you can connect up your monitors, then you can go for something even cheaper, its basically that what you pay for :)
