Jack Sparrow Appreciation

Post by murky21 » Thu Feb 23, 2012 10:21 am

Not one to make an appreciation thread on a whim, but Jack Sparrow really does need one, what a ridiculously heavy producer.
Just seen Afraid of Me/ Good old days is coming at some point, amazing plate thats gonna be!
His production levels really are off the chain, got some sick dark, weighty, tech-y style beats as well as those more uplifting anti-social style leaners....
Heard Commodo drop some ridiculous bits a couple of weeks ago that apparently were Jack Sparrows, honestly ridiculous...speaking of which heard J.Sparrow & Commodo were possibly hitting the boards together, would be some seriously dope collab material, hope some of that materialises this year
with Ruckspin, Author :h: definitely one of the best projects dubstep has churned out, album was absolutely next level looking forward to more
Circadian was one of the best albums of 2010 too, still gets a rinse on the regular from me
Really dope DJ too, tore the Tectonic boat down at outlook, and played some big sets in london in 2011, haven't seen him in 2012 yet, more london dates please promoters!
big the fuck up J.Sparrow!

It's not often your wrong, Murky, but your right again. Easily in my top 5 producers list... I can't believe there isn't an appreciation thread already!
All his tunes are just so crisp and weighty, and those dark d&b bits on Circadian? Pfffft, sick.
Sparrow & Commodo?!? :o :h:

Man is a don, so many good tunes. Easily one of my favourite producers. Afraid of Me/Good Old Days could easily be one of the best plates of the year (hopefully this year :P )

Both Circadian and the Author album are brilliant and i play them loads, really looking forward to more tunes with Ruckspin and now Commodo? Thats gonna be mental

One of my favourite producers! Really versatile and always brings serious vibes into whatever he takes a stab at.

Way Out West was probably my favourite track of 2010. That switch-up exactly halfway through the track :U:
Top producer, big up!

I'm a big fan of his tracks, theyre creative and just all around good.
His sample pack is also really great.

My favorite tune by him is Dread (ft. Ruckspin)

First off yes, Jack Sparrow has been a favorite of mine since the second I heard 'Loveless' dude is just fucking incredible. But the prospect of him working with Commodo who is definitely in my top 2 at the moment, makes my head fucking explode. That material would just be too insane, and I give infinite rims to both producers. Again, more rims for Jack Sparrow for Back in the Day probably getting the Medi treatment, those tunes deserve it.
