When i put a a sample into "Sampler" in Ableton Live and press a note(Besides the central one)it changes the tempo...it goes slower if i go lower...and faster if i go higher.

I want to be able to maintain the same tempo when i press different keys, and transpose it to either higher or lower.

I may sound stupid, and its probably something really easy, but if you know please tell me!

There's no time-streching in Ableton's samplers, afaik.

You can do 3 things:
a) multisample the original source (if you can)
b) time-stretch as audio and throw all the notes you'll be using in the sampler
c) use a sampler with time-streching, I think NI Kontakt can do it... Shortcircuit maybe?

And use the Ableton topic for further questions. :)

This will still speed up/down the sample.
