NEW SOUND... Producers wanted....

Post by Smiffy AFO » Mon Feb 27, 2012 4:51 pm

Easy,

First time poster, hope all are well and good.
Me and a few headz have been getting together to create a new 160 bpm sound, primarily called AFO (A is first letter, F is 6th, O is 0, obviously) and was wondering if anyone wants to get involved?
It can be 160 bpm dubstep, jungle, new and completely different stuff, the world is your shellfish.
We'll be looking to develop the sound (here in London firstly, as thats where we are based).
We have hip hop, house, techno, dubstep and dnb producers on board, unable to reveal names unfortunately.
Like I said its a completely new sound, I have mixed DnB since the 90's, a bit of dub, dubstep, house etc too but want to create a new sound.
Innovate don't re-create etc.
PM me for any more info please.
I know some make dubstep (drumstep?) at 160 bpm, but I just want to see how this progresses, so please show love people.
The aim is to set up a label, artwork and registering being done as we speak, get a night going and we have links to several radio stations to push the sound on.
Much love.

Easy Joe,

We'll have a channel on youtube but hope to get site and label sorted and push a new sound in the clubs in London and where ever we are wanted really.
The idea is to come with something completely different.
We were toying with an electric African sound instead of the usual reggae based samples, but anything goes mate! :-)
If you have any links of other stuff you have done, that would be wicked.
Also, whats your production name?
Thanks for the reply, by the way. welcome on board.
