got my copy of '90's Prostitution Racket' in the post, still can't figure out where i know the vocals from (if at all lol)...specifically 0:48 to 1:04

How does one go about making tunes as rough as this yet still not SO rough that they can't be played out on a system or whatever? I'm guessing that every drum goes into kontakt or something then gets heavily processed.
