Whats your favourite VST?

Post by Jizz » Fri Mar 09, 2012 7:58 pm

Im at the stage where I really need to get some new VST's to muck around with, mainly more things like PSP Nitro (love this VST so much)

So yeah this is a thread where I could hopefully find some good new VST's through knowing what VST's you love to use the most

lol, this idea sounded a lot better in my head

If you're looking for multi effects plugins, there's a few good ones out i like:

CamelPhat and CamelSpace
Dblue Glitch
Imageline GrossBeat
Effectrix
Ohmicide
Guitar Rig

And FabFilter have just brought out a new multiband distortion plugin, Saturn. Haven't tried it yet.

Ok, if you want to learn about some neat plugins check Ohmboyz from Ohmforce. It's the most creative delay effect ever. Make sure you choose the classic skin tho if you get the demo.

I concur that Sylenth is a good synth. (I am actually starting to think about getting back into production again for fun)

The only Vst synth i use is Sylenth. I use Fabfilter ProQ, Flux Bittersweet, Camelcrusher and NaiveLPF, the rest of the effects i use are standard FL ones.

If anyone could recommend some good freeware reverbs that would be great ;).

Nice one on the Ohmboyz, may have to demo that one. I got RP Delay for 20 bones on an audiomidi.com no brainer and have really enjoyed using it. It has a certain sound I'm not always fond of, but it's nice on a send for hats and percs to add some movement.

Insturments:
Absynth - just got it before the new year and haven't gotten that deep in it yet, but :o loving it!
3xosc - seriously, still use this little guy, a lot!
Tal Bassline - nice for a raw fat reese sound (freeware).

FX:
Absynth
D16 Group Silverline
GlissEQ
Kramer Master Tape - just got this one by Waves...pure fucking love... :6:
