Pearson Sound/Ramadanman should release more Autonomic D&B

Post by harbinger » Sun Mar 18, 2012 10:35 pm

Just listening to Down With You/Higher by Pearson Sound. Personally, I love the autonomic sound, and I think Kennedy's take on it is quality, can defo tell it's him on production.
Anyone heard any more autonomic stuff from Pearson Sound?! He needs to get on it!

Yeah, that release is big. Think it's the only autonomic thing he did though. Distance nailed the sound too.

"Minimal" drum & bass. Thing started by Instra:mental and dBridge.

http://ftrprf.blogspot.com/2010/12/year ... onomy.html

Examples right there --> http://forum.watmm.com/topic/61335-auto ... nimal-dnb/
If this is the future, it seems highly livable: shiny, cool and comfortably dissonant. Like a low dose of ketamine in an empty, luminous airport hall in northern Japan, eating avocado and waiting for the universe to arrive.

I don't get why people call it minimal dnb. Doesn't sound that stripped down, to me at least.

Didn't know there was a genre name for this, I've been listening to Bop for a bit, he's pretty cool

Bop - Tears of A Lonely Metaphysician

So it seems he's only produced 4 Autonomic bits...

Agree that Distance should do more too.
