Re: Orchestral Dubstep (FEEDBACK!)
very boring generic bass(atleast you designed it) the hiphop horns sound cheezy... nice melodies though, simple yet catchy....and no comment on mix, but wtf was with the bitcrushed high hats on the downbeat..... like dood that sounded just as bad as the sample bout the duck lol.... keep producing dood you already got decent arrangement at least in 140
Re: Orchestral Dubstep (FEEDBACK!)
Ouch... So should I fix the high hats (remove bitcrush? I thought it sounded fresh) and modulate the bass? The bass was kind of boring because I wanted to focus on the melodies, and I thought some LFO's would make it too busy sounding. I will admit that the horns are cheesy, partially because they're presets (I didn't want to make my own, nor do I own any of the instruments) and I thought the hip-hop sound was kind of funny (mocking, almost). The voice samples were just for the drop, should I lower them? Bouncing it always makes them loud, I'll put a limiter and see what happens. Thanks for the feedback though, most constructive I've had to date!
Re: Orchestral Dubstep (FEEDBACK!)
i like the distorted bass string at the beginning of the drop
keep goin!!

Re: Orchestral Dubstep (FEEDBACK!)
Thanks man, I have a new track coming soon that's a bit more complex and jumpy, so be sure to tune in!
Re: Orchestral Dubstep (FEEDBACK!)
Definitely lower the vocal samples, and do not limit them....compress if anything.....keep at the sound design....its a long road...but if your dedicated...it will pay off...if you have ears
Re: Orchestral Dubstep (FEEDBACK!)
That's awfully cryptic (other than the compressing of the vocal samples), would you mind explaining the rest?
