DJ'ing with Korg Nanopad?

Post by ScarletCyanide » Thu Apr 12, 2012 2:46 pm

Okay, I was wondering, if there was some way I could encorporate my Korg Nanopad into a DJ set? I'm currently using a Reloop Digital Jockey 2 ME, running into Traktor Pro 2, is there a way to use the nanopad to do anything, like one hits or samples or somit? (Like an MPC / Could someone explain exactly what kindda stuff I could do, if anything?)

Yes. Setup the oneshots to run through your C & D decks, then set the Nanopad as a controller for those.

I've used things similar controllers to the Nanopad. I mostly used them for effects and stuff like that, but you can pretty much map it to do just about whatever you want it to do.
