Static Dogma - Centaurian

Post by Static D0gma » Thu Apr 12, 2012 11:51 pm

It's been a few months since I've been on here. To me, it doesn't really seem right for me to do this after being gone for so long, but I'd really like some feedback on this track. I made it in celebration of 100 followers.

I usually don't make "Brostep". I know this because most people describe my other Dubstep tracks as "chillstep".
I also want to point out that I'm producing on my iPad2 until I'm able to save up for a new laptop. Thanks in advance.

Actually quite like the atmosphere and vibe of this track, I don't know if I'd really call it brostep at all. Couple things though, a lot of it seemed to be lacking a solid sub-bass line. Like, the bass was all in those big reverby kicks. Nice ideas though.

Oh and one more thing: never use the word 'chillstep', and don't listen to anyone who calls your stuff 'chillstep'. It's a terrible, pointless word :W:

Why? I always thought it was a compliment. Welp, I'll probably start cutting myself now.

Thanks for the feedback. Did you listen to the full track? I'm asking that because the actual drop has "Brostep-ish" bass in it, and the arrangement sounds similar to the Brostep I've listened to.

I guess everyone else does it, so I'll do it too.

Bump.
