I need a 'Reese' bass.
I need a thick, muffled and clean reese bass for a track of mine.
I'm using a squeeky synth as the main synth, and my synths use a lot of vibrato and chorus. So if possible, is there a THICK vibrating reese out there, that doesn't sound like randomized noise with no control? Because this is where the drop is. (No not that kind of drop. A very... BIG DnB/Electro tune. Much like Porter Robinson or KOAN Sound.)

Keep progressing, one day you'll be great.

Are you certain a reese would be good for that style of tune?

Synth w/ 2 Oscillators
Sawtooth waveform
Detune slightly
Play a C3
Adjust stereo detune to get wider sound
Add reverb/distortion to taste.

Re: I need a 'Reese' bass.
Ok, random idea and just throwing it out there so bear with me. If you see a thread/post/comment/query that you think is bringing down the forum or at least the forum as you personally perceive it, try doing one of three things;
1) Post a description of how best to help the OP in the thread
2) Direct the OP to where on the forum the information may already be found by way of a link
3) STFU and don't bother posting at all
Questions get asked all the time by different users of different levels of experience. It's a forum, that's generally what happens. But instead of publicly lambasting the state of affairs, why not try helping or (if you're not the helpful type) keeping quiet.
Making snidey comments about how the forum is going downhill in your eyes doesn't help anyone.

Dear Wub. Please read through my hundreds of posts helping people before having a pop at me. Thanks.wub wrote:Ok, random idea and just throwing it out there so bear with me. If you can't see a problem with this thread, perhaps i'll start a few asking for a snare, or a kick. Sometimes i just can't be bothered to help a drooling moron out who can't even be bothered to google 'reese bass'. It has to be the easiest thing to make, and i have little time for someone who won't even learn the simplest of things for themselves.
Re: I need a 'Reese' bass.
But you still had enough time to make a sarcastic comment, when you could've just as easily not posted at all.VirtualMark wrote:Dear Wub. I'm not singling anyone out, and I'm not for one second suggesting you don't contribute. But posting just to slate isn't constructive.

I've recently started messing with reese basses. Found these on the forum...

Please expand. How does one make a reese in Sawer? Anything that isn't Massive or Sylenth is like near impossible to figure out. More so because I have severe downs.Killamike49 wrote:When i opened Sawer for the first time i was all "Let there be Movement!"Jas0n wrote:OP: does your FL Studio have the Sawer soft synth?
