This will be amazing. Hes by far my favourite DJ, he'll smash out a brilliant mix CD like his rinse one and i assume this fabriclive one will be too.. but seeing him live he'll play a completely different set and still smash it. Hes one of the few DJs that can do the two very differently but make them both perfect.

Definitely. We had a nice discussion the other day between me and my mates of DJ's you'd hire for your house party or something on those lines if you could afford it.

Think we all agreed Oneman would be a cert. All you need to look at is his Outlook 11 set. Think he tweeted afterwards that he played like 90+ tunes in his 1 1/2 set? (those stats may be wrong) but its not just playing so many tunes its the selection. Throwing in like Prince the mad fuck.

Plenty of time for man like Oneman :Q:

To be fair theres 4 outstanding DJ's in and about this genre. But there 3 you could probably say rival each other.

Gotta add Ben UFO and Youngsta into the tier of outstanding DJ's but Yunx is on a different level. Not necessarily better (although I guess everyone has their own opinion) but he's got his style and genre which is away from the other 3... Ben UFO on the other hand is very similar in my opinion. Theres a Boiler Room knocking about with the 3 going b2b2b which is incredible. I'd love the opportunity to see those 3 going b2b2b on a mad 2 hour set or something.

But yeh those 3 at your own house party? one could only imagine hahaha. But I think if i won the lottery that would one of the first things I do. Your all invited by the way. :w:

Definitely my favourite one, I've watched about three times just for the great transitions and selection. Would have fucking loved to make it to that set.

Jackmaster Vs Oneman Vs Ben UFO Vs Youngsta
that would be a battle and a half.

Personally Oneman still trumps them all, it's just the way he can leap between tempo's seamlessly and still keep a continuous flow. While Jackmaster and Ben UFO absolutely smash it, they kinda work up in tempos from say 125 up to 140 (as far as i've seen and heard anyway) and Youngsta is generally solid at 140 (but he plays drum and bass now and again right?) Not saying tempo jumping is neccesary to make a good set, but I think if i could pick one skill to master it'd be able to jump across tempo's like Oneman does. His grime selections are second to none too.

can't compare youngsta to them really, maybe back when oneman was playing mostly 140 but not anymore. Not saying he is talented, theres just a completely different vibe with in there sets. But then you could say the same about ben ufo

http://boilerroom.tv/ben-ufo-b2b-jackma ... thday-mix/ <<<< Link to the above set were on about. Just giving it another listen whilst doing uni work. Starts going off after about an hour. Surprised to see Oneman use that same mix he's used previously Amerie - French fries into Sicko Cell but it still goes fucking off. COMPLETELY

About Youngsta. Hes like the odd one out of the 4 really. Youngsta is dark and minimal and yeh he can do dnb as well but thats all he does and to be honest thats all he needs to do. Hes got that scene fully in his control with all the exclusive tunes not to mention the tonnes of respect from fans and producers/DJs and aspiring DJ's alike.

Thinking about it I bet Oneman/Ben UFO and i suppose? Jackmaster? (i know less about Jackmaster than the others)could all tangle with Yunx at 140 but I don't think the 3 would have the tunes to select from if it were to be an up to date set. Maybe if it was an old school set then we would have something extremely special on the cards but now where talking stipulations and shit.

Maybe we could just have them all going at it in a Hell in a Cell?

Big up Oneman. Had the pleasure of catching him twice at Outlook last year. Firstly, in the Moat and secondly on the Swamp81 boat party.

Killed it.
