Yesdog - Rolling (Adelle Drumstep) WIP
New mix/master of my remix of Adele's Rolling In the Deep. Work in progress! A kinda fast dubstep/dance sorta thing.
Desperately looking for input! I need to know how badly I suck (or not?). You can skip most of the intro, i tend to leave those a bit longer than necessary.
Should be mix/mastered, but I could be wrong...

Re: Yesdog - Rolling (Adele remix, dubstep-ish)
Any takers? Rather eager to get some input on it... not even really quite sure what style this would be, if anything.

imo, way too much stuff going on. most of the elements sound very out of key with each other.
the drums programing sounds good, but overall the tune sounds extremely disjointed and chaotic.

it`s a bit of a mess
but I can hear you have some good ideas here
I`d remove the vocal firstly and go from there.
Also I`m noticing your kick snare pattern is once again sticking to kick snare kick snare.
It`s not suited for this track imo.
I can already hear a kick snare kick kick snare kickkick snare
More breakbeat rather than std.

thanks for the input! Interested what parts sound most out of key, thought I had the chord progression down. I dont think the bass is playing the root in some parts.. probably sounds goofy. Glad the drums sounded okMurder Musket wrote:imo, way too much stuff going on. most of the elements sound very out of key with each other.

Great input! Thanks tons. Yeah, I need to ditch the kick-snare thing. I generally like to do more breakbeat stuff, so Id like to mix it up a bit more. And... there's way too much Adelle, I think I was a little to afraid to kill the vocal (its just such a good acapella).Electric_Head wrote:it`s a bit of a mess

Really appreciate the input, especially for a noob like myself.
