strange noise from headphones,is this normal?

bought some sony headphones,in ear ones, and when im going through drum samples everything has a strange high pitched beep to it! Its a poor description but it doesnt seem normal and it appears mainly down the low end,when i listen through my speakers the sound isnt there so must be the headphones?

Sounds like it's your headphones if it's not there with the speakers.

seems to make sound horrible,put trust in sony n they let me down :'( makes the high end really harsh and hats seem to have a shaker type hit to them,bad buy i think

fixed!!! its my computer,thats a relief, the headphone bit is a bit shitty,take that apart n look at it me thinks!!

if you get it again it could also be you hearing the hard drive working, its electrical interference. i get it using my over the ears and it sends me mental like i got something chirping at me for hours on end
