yo dubstep forum crew,

it's been a while since i posted here, but i was always more of lurker. anyway, after a semi-rant on the origins of dubstep, a chicago blog asked me to record a mix of early dubstep and sounds that influenced its development. rather than a definitive history (hatcha's already got that covered), it's more of a personal snapshot of the era: what records i was hearing and playing out in chicago and the midwest. i thought you guys might dig it. some of the tunes are so rare, they're not even on youtube! ez chris
