Why has soundcloud just killed my beat ?

I just uploaded a little WIP to soundcloud and it sounds crackly and a lot shitter than when i play it in Logic.
Its nowhere near clipping so why do you think its doing this ?

SoundCloud automatically compresses all files you upload.

There is a thread on this like once a week. It changes it to 128Kb/s I think Read this thing.
