Korrupt's review of Dioxin One's 5 track 'Sub Category EP':
"After listening to all the tracks, I've got to say I’m really impressed by Dioxin One. First thing I thought after hearing the first track, without hearing other material was: Has this guy been a hip-hop producer in the past? The first thing that gave me that idea were the hi-hats being really clear and present, the front leader of the track’s speed. Second, the serious low-end involved... Especially after hearing ‘3000 M.P.H.’ and ‘Nobody Get Hot’ it became a fairly solid conclusion. Furthermore, serious sounds with loads of space sounds and face-melting material. Oh and the sub-patterns of ‘Nobody Get Hot’ remind me a little of DMZ? Tell me what you think! If you rinse any of these tracks on big systems, know that it’s going to shake up the place real crazy. Big ups to Dioxin One for sharing this amazingly crafted EP, cheers – Korrupt."
"In late 2009 Dioxin's first exposure to the genre of "dubstep" left an indelible impression – thus influencing much of his output today. "I heard the wobble synth and in my head I went... 'I gotta learn how to make this."
