when I was in Thailand finding a macdonalds was like stumbling across the holy grail. Took a 2 hour pickup truck ride out of the village I was living just to find one.

All about double big mac or triple cheeseburger, supersize fries and a fuck off double gulp size coke, and a cheese chicken burger on the side mmmmmmmm...

Stupid thing is I hate McDobalds, HATE it, but I've always liked chicken nuggets despite seeing how they're made. I've no doubt they (still) have disgusting stuff in them, and I'll never voluntarily go to a McDs, but if I do, I just want a bucket of chicken nuggets.

The same could be said for tofu yet an entire population of vegan/vegetarians swear by it.
I`ve eaten tofu that tasted like cardboard and I`ve eaten tofu that tasted like pickled fish.
The point is that what you think tastes good I might think tastes shit, and vice versa.
Sushi is a prime example.
