Leave Blank- The songs of distant earth (disco/techno)
Hey, I made something a little different.
Mega sub heavy disco techno inspired by Arthur C Clarke.
Soundcloud
Feedback much appreciated.

This is beautiful. Sound selection is spot on, whole thing has that low slung stomp vibe to it with just the right amount of funk. Made me think of hovercars for some reason.
Only complaint would be the sections go on for a bit long. I'm a fan of the whole Salsoul extended instrumental disco vibe (which I hear echoed in this a lot), but in terms of variation there are some parts that are on the verge of dragging.

Cheers man, I feel that. Was a bit unsure about the length of certain sections myself. Might try a re edit and see how it all sits with a few sections nipped down. First foray into the weird world of disco so wasn't going to hit the nail on the head first time round. Glad you enjoyed it though mate.

For long instrumental disco cuts (irrespective of style), this track is a good reference point in terms of arrangement/variation;

Really enjoyed listening to that, I definitely see what you mean, it never got boring or repetitive even though many of the elements stayed the same, really well arranged piece of music, inspiring me to try and make some more music like this.

That's cool, each to their own.
