they may be on sale, or it may be an unauthorized retailer who has some b stock, may be chinese knock offs being sold via ebay or other non verifiable store front, also may be cheap advertised price with huge shipping fee, kinda hard to know when you don't give a link
dealt with this a lot when i worked at guitar center, places advertising prices lower than authorized if they were an authorized reseller and people wanting us to price match them
generally if it seems too good to be true, it's b stock or just a lure to get your money and do the oh, backordered or out of stock bait and switch and tie up your money with no actual refund, but store credit

what we used to do is call up or in your case email the manufacture and ask if they were an authorized retailer, if not could be suspect
also like i said try going through the checkout process and make sure there isn't any hidden fees
had plenty of people say x place advertises this for say $50-70 lower than you guys only to show them they'd have to pay that difference or more in shipping fees or something else if they were to order them because they didn't do their due diligence

no problem, if it seems legit and you're still wary email the shop making sure that the item is in stock is the last piece of advice i'd give
like i said some e-retailers do bait and switch tactics, take your money and force you to use it as store credit knowing full well they have no stock or will not receive any more of something they advertise that seems too good to be true (read the fine print heh)
